At 17:07 the Rescue and Service were sent to assist Station 71 with a multiple vehicle accident with entrapment on Route 30 Westbound near County Street. The crash involved a car, a pick-up truck towing a trailer and a parked pick-up truck. Command requested hands from the Rescue assist with extrication and the Service handle traffic control. One patient was extricated and transported by Mutual Aid Ambulance. Rescue 113-5 also assisted. While operating at the crash the Engine was dispatched at 15:49 to a transformer fire with wires down on Solomon Temple Road in the First Due. As Service 39 was completing the assignment on Route 30 at 18:21, the crew was requested to assist Station 71 with a vehicle-Bicycle accident on Ligonier Street near Bittner Lane.

At 14:45 the Rescue and Service were dispatched to a two vehicle crash on Bethel Church Road near Haas Lane in the first due. Chief 39 arrived to report two vehicles, no entrapment, one injury, and the road partially blocked. One patient was transported by Mutual Aid Ambulance Service. Also assisting was Rescue 73.
At 14:57 the Engine and Pumper-Tanker were sent to assist station 73 with a sign fire in a commercial structure at Mountain Laurel Plaza. Union arrival it was determined there was a smoldering fire in the area behind a sign and the electricity was shut off and the wall opened up and the fire extinguished and overhauled. Other units assisting included 36, 114, 91, and 113.
At 13:21 the Engine, Rescue-Engine, and Tanker were sent to assist Station 71 with a car fire endangering a structure on Schultz Avenue in Derry Township. While in route a second call reported extension into the adjacent garage. Hands assisted with suppression, water supply, and overhaul. Other units assisting included 113, 41, 114, and 34 for RIT. Earlier 39 responded to an automatic fire alarm in District 36.
At 23:42 the Rescue and Service were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Route 30 Westbound. Originally dispatched as West of Route 982, the location was updated by dispatch to be East of the 982 overpass. Chief 39 arrived to confirm a pickup truck had crashed and was blocking both traffic lanes at the updated location. No one was in or around the vehicle. At 21:40 the Rescue and Service were sent to assist 114 with a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries on Unity Cemetery Road. Lieutenant 114 arrived to report one person entrapped and the pickup truck off the roadway. The Service and Rescue were initially assigned traffic control on both sides of the incident. One person was transported by Mutual Aid Ambulance.
At 18:39 the Service was activated to assist Pendot with shutting down Bethel Church Road from Stoney Ridge Lane to the top of the Ridge near the Unity Township line. A second call reported a truck overturned in that area and the Rescue Truck was also sent. Chief 39 arrived to report a pickup truck and a trailer both overturned, no entrapment and no injuries. At 16:13 the Rescue and Service were sent to assist Station 114 with a multiple vehicle accident with injuries on Route 30 at Wimmerton Boulevard. The first unit on scene reported two vehicles with injuries and no entrapment at the entrance to Wimmerton. Two patients were transported by Mutual Aid Ambulance. Other units assisting included Rescue 33.
At 07:57 Station 39 was activated for a traffic control detail at Route 982 and Main Street in Youngstown. Upon arrival of Assistant 39 the incident was updated to a three vehicle accident with injuries, no entrapment, and traffic blocked on both roads. Two patients were transported by Mutual Aid Ambulance. Firefighters remained on scene until the wreckage could be removed. Other units assisting 73 and 113-5.
At 09:27 the Rescue was activated to assist station 114 with a physical rescue with 2 patients and a dog over a steep cliff off Horseshoe Drive. Command requested hands and equipment to set up a rope system and stokes basket to aid in safely getting the individuals and dog to safe ground. Other units assisting included 34, 73, and 113. At 20:49 station 39 was activated to assist station 43 as part of a working resident structure fire assignment on Washington Street in Ligonier. The Engine, Rescue-Engine, Service, and Foam trucks were sent with hands who assisted with suppression and overhaul. Other units assisting included 42, 44, 45, 110, 41, 113, and 114 and 71 for RIT. At 10:44 the Engine, Tanker, and Foam trucks were sent to assist Station 36 with a commercial structure fire on Turnberry Circle. The first arriving officer reported smoke showing. The size up was updated to include an H/V/AC unit on fire outside the building with duct work burning inside and the building filled with smoke. Hands from 39 assisted with suppression, water supply and ventilation. Other units assisting included, 35, 33, 114, 113, and 79.
At 15:02 the Rescue and Service were dispatched to a multiple vehicle accident on Route 30 at Beatty County Road to assist Station 33. Deputy 33 arrived to report two vehicles involved, occupants still in both cars with entrapment in one vehicle, and Route 30 Westbound blocked. At 22:50 the Rescue was dispatched to a multiple vehicle accident with injuries on Route 30 East at Route 981 in District 73. Chief 39 arrived to report two vehicles involved with no entrapment, two injuries, and three lanes of Route 30 Eastbound and Route 981 Southbound blocked. Mutual Aid Ambulance transported one patient for air transport to a trauma center and the other by land ambulance to a trauma center. Others assisting included Rescues 73 and 114.
